In Collaboration with Jakarta Biennale and AGSI (Indonesian Gallery Association), all art activities during the month of November and December 2021 will be cross promoted amongst the institutions in Jakarta Art Month. One of Art Moments Jakarta Online 2 programs that is part of this collaboration will include Artist Talk; a scheduled online discussion session.

Artist Talk featuring Jakarta Biennale:
Tribute to I Made Wianta with special guests from Jakarta Biennale, will be speaking about life stories of I Made Wianta and his long career in the Indonesian art industry.
The late I Made Wianta is one of the most prominent artists in contemporary art. He is quite an international phenomenon, as he criticizes politics and governments through his artwork creations.
His artwork has been published in various art exhibitions and museums. He dares to bring up controversial issues through his artworks. That is also the reason that He gained lots of international recognition from other countries.
Known as a warm, and charming person, Mr I Made Wianta left a great legacy not only through his paintings but also how he touches man's heart through the message that he conveyed using art.

Artist Talk featuring Jakarta Biennale:
FX Harsono & Anusapati
Artist talk for Jakarta Biennale & AGSI (Asosiasi Galeri Seni Rupa Indonesia) will be talking about the life of FX Harsono, who is one of the worldwide-known artists from Indonesia. FX Harsono is an artist that is represented by Andi's Gallery (member of AGSI), and Mr Anusapati; former head of Asosiasi Pematung Indonesia.
Fx Harsono originated from Blitar, East Java. He is one of the most influential figures in contemporary art. He was also part of the founder of a group called Indonesia’s Gerakan Seni Rupa Baru (New Art Movement) and also Black December (Desember Hitam). He constantly demonstrates issues regarding social, cultural, and political issues through his paintings.
Harsono gained his international recognition awards from international events such as the Fourth Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art in Moscow, Russia (2011) and in the exhibitions "Edge of Elsewhere" at Sydney Australia and many more.

Artist Talk featuring 2021 UOB Painting Of The Year (Indonesia) winners.
Guest speakers are from 2021 UOB Painting of The Year(Indonesia):
Agung Hujatnikajennong, jury of 2021 UOB Painting of The Year (Indonesia), will be talking about 2 winners from 2021 UOB Painting of The Year: Meliantha Muliawan & Chrisna Fernand.
UOB painting of the year is an annual event held by UOB in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, as one of the forms of appreciation of the art.
It is highly recognized in Southeast Asia in which the winner will get a residency program at the renowned Fukuoka Asian Art Museum.
This year’s winner, Meliantha Muliawan won the awards with her creation title “Even After Death”. She was inspired by the porcelain ceramic shards from the Ming Dynasty. Also, she dedicated her creation as her appreciation for Chinese cultures in Indonesia.
