We are happy to announce that Art Moments Jakarta 2021 is on track and ready to welcome you from 3 to 5 December 2021 at Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel.
We just held our Press Conference with 33 news and lifestyle media in attendance, all of whom were enthusiastic and very much looking forward for Art Moments Jakarta 2021, one of the biggest Art Fairs in South East Asia. Our Founder/Fair Director, Leo Silitonga announced the participating galleries, program highlights and supporting artists for this year event. The media event was also attended by participating gallery representatives, artist and our event partner, Jakarta Sneakers Day where we also recognize the importance of instilling the value of art to the younger crowd.
Art Moments Jakarta 2021 returns on a bigger scale, showcasing 50 local and international galleries in a larger exhibition area, targeting 20,000 visitors and offering unique programs throughout the 3 days. One of major the galleries that is participating is Whitestone Gallery - Tokyo, Hong Kong and Taipei. The gallery features the works of Japanese artists, including Yayoi Kusama, Yoshitomo Nara and The Gutai Art Group which is currently one of the influential art groups in Japan along with other Japanese contemporary artists. In addition, the event will also exhibit artworks curated by the Singapore-based gallery, Art Agenda S.E.A, an undertaking to art that gives consulting and curatorial services, with expertise in Asian art of the modern and post-war eras from the 1930s to the 1980s. Aureo Gallery from Kuala Lumpur will showcase the results of work of art that is both unique and innovative which stirs the imagination of the soul. This year, they will display their main artist, Kim Il Tae, a Korean artist who pioneered a distinct method to paint with 24k gold and oil on canvas. Kim is the only gold painting artist in the world today whose works are collected by Prince Michael of Kent from British Royal Family, Psy, a Korean celebrity and other big names.
